Lifestyle newborn photography is a wonderful way to forever preserve the memories of a new baby’s earliest days at home. I love this style so much because the focus is on the everyday life of welcoming the new child into the family.
When I chatted with Jelena, she specifically mentioned she wanted a more casual approach to their session. She also mentioned she wanted me to focus mostly on photos of dad + baby. AND she wanted to include her father-in-law as he was in town visiting. Their home in Oakland was full of warm, natural light and so we moved from room to room capturing all the details: baby’s tiny features, the beautiful nursery mural and intimate moments between mom and baby while she was nursing.
So many sweet, tender moments that they will treasure and reminisce on for years to come.
