My style is lifestyle storytelling photography. IN our time together, you will give a wide variety of posed, candid and documentary type images. The first thing I do is get all the posed shots out of the way and then from there, I let you be as a family -- playing with your kids, adventuring, whatever it may be!
All my sessions take place about 1 hour before sunset! I know that can be hard with young kids, especially during summer months when the sun is setting close to 8:30pm. However, if you love that golden, dreamy light, then shooting any earlier won't produce that. Reach out with any concerns and we can chat!
Great question! This is important to address. A lot of families love that golden light. However sometimes we get cloudy, overcast days here in the Bay Area! I don't reschedule if its overcast and cloudy because often times, those sessions are my favorite. The clouds add so much color and dynamic to a session and I love it! It's gorgeous! But yes, if there is rain or even smokey skies, we will absolutely reschedule.
YES! Please bring your cap 'n gown and any other special momentos! I love using tassels and other dated materials for fun, creative shots!
I have many favorites and it really depends on what you want. There are many options from urban to rolling hills to wildflowers and even the studio. Lifestyle Senior sessions are supposed to reflect you and your personality so lets work together to find the perfect location! An open parking lot or field with wildflowers... ALL of it is so fun and I can't wait to work with you!
