The best time of year (and my favorite) for Senior Sessions is early Spring! The hills and open spaces are green and blooming with flowers and it's finally starting to get warm out. While there really is no right or wrong time, early Fall (September) or Spring (March-May) are the best times for Senior photos in the Bay Area.
This is super important and I would love to work with you on finding the perfect outfits. I recommend at least two outfits, sometimes three if we have time. Starting with jeans and a cute top and then finishing with a short or long dress. I do recommend bringing different props such a school sweatshirts, flags, champagne, glitter etc. All of that adds a fun element to your photos!
Most Senior sessions last roughly 1-1.5 hours depending on how many outfit changes we do. Time will be about 1-2 hours before sunset as this is when the light is the softest.
YES! Please bring your cap 'n gown and any other special momentos! I love using tassels and other dated materials for fun, creative shots!
I have many favorites and it really depends on what you want. There are many options from urban to rolling hills to wildflowers and even the studio. Lifestyle Senior sessions are supposed to reflect you and your personality so lets work together to find the perfect location! An open parking lot or field with wildflowers... ALL of it is so fun and I can't wait to work with you!

Graduating from high school or college? What better way than to celebrate and document this incredible season of life! Senior Sessions are booked year round so there is no right or wrong time to book but I do recommend either the last 3-4 months before graduation or at the beginning of your Senior year. Spring is a wonderful time to have your session so March & April are perfect months for good weather and green grass. Also, don't hesitate to have some fun -- bring champagne, glitter, sparkling cider to have some fun at the end!
