If you love a good urban location, then stick around to see one of my favorite senior photo session’s to date! What an incredible location. The Alameda naval yard in Alameda, California offers a unique and captivating backdrop for creating cool, urban photos. The naval yard is a treasure trove of cool, run-down buildings filled with character and history. As a Bay Area senior photographer, this location is visually compelling with rugged and weathered architecture which is the perfect location if you’re looking for something different!
The naval yard is Alameda is a photographer’s dream! The textured walls, rusty metals and peeling paint offer a rich palette for capturing a senior’s personality and style. The unique lines, staircases and shapes of the buildings provide so many opportunities to frame the subject in eclectic ways!
Being a Bay Area senior photographer, I strive to find a location that suits you best! If you aren’t into the golden, rolling hills or wildflowers, then this location is for you! We will start at one part of the naval yard and then drive around to all the other areas during our time together. I do recommend between 2-3 outfit changes as changing clothing offers a different look and really adds to your final gallery.
If you couldn’t already tell, photographing high school seniors in the Bay Area is where my heart lies! The opportunity to capture the essence and individuality of a senior during this momentous chapter in their lives, fills me with so much joy and gratitude. We have so many stunning landscapes in the San Francisca Bay Area so you really can’t go wrong with the location you choose. The Bay Area provides picturesque backdrops that never fail to inspire my creativity. And I promise during our time together, we’re gonna laugh and maybe cry (sorry I do sometimes do that:)) but mostly, we’re gonna have FUN!
