Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, we had an unusual amount of rain this Fall 2021. Usually I am rescheduling because of wildfires, but this year seemed to be the year of rain reschedules. Not only was it rainy, but it was foggy and muddy at most my go to locations.

This family session was no different. While I was driving to the session, it was drizzling. I for sure thought we were going to get dumped on! BUT the opposite happened and the sky opened up to an incredible sunset. The session started with hazy skies, with small peaks of sun and towards the even, the sky shifted to cotton candy clouds! Talk about incredible! You must scroll down towards the end to see what I’m talking about!

This little girl was a HAM! So full of personality and sass! She danced with her dad, played peek-a-boo, ran around crazily, jumped all around and just had the best time. Her big personality really shines through in these photos. So many cute shots of her!

So, if you’re worried about rain for your session, have no fear! I watch the weather closely days before and leading up to so we know what we’re in for. Often times I will wait til the morning of to reschedule you just because the weather shifts so rapidly here. So please please just trust me when I say its best to go forward with shooting OR just simple rescheduling!

Whoo-hoo! You made it to the end! I will say, this family showed up and just loved on their daughter. There wasn’t much prompting from me! I like to document families as organically and candidly as possible. I do promise to deliver some photos of everyone looking at the camera, but the rest is really photos of you just being together! It’s worth it to just play and love on your kids and let me do the rest!
